Once again the Science Department headed by Mrs. Maxima D.R. Castillo has invited Dr. Edmund Rosales, astronomer from the University of the Philippines with his multi-capacity high pow­ered telescope to lecture and give information about the heavenly bodies. The freshmen got the latest information about the sky and the wonders of it. Film showing and slides allowed the stu­dents to fully understand the mystery of the universe.

The star gazing of the freshmen were scheduled in three different batches of different dates. All members of the depart­ment and the officers of the Young Scientists Club worked hand in hand to ensure the safety and the needs of the participants.
