The waning English proficiency of the students has created alarm to the Academy’s Board of Directors that an urgent meeting with the officers of the SHAMG-secondary and elementary levels, different clubs and organizations was held on January 13 at the Audio Visual Room.

Present during the meeting were the President of the Board, Engr. Carlos N. Santos, Jr., Vice-President of the Board, Atty. Venustiano Roxas, Mrs. Norita Asuncion G. Pantaleon, Mrs. Concordia Mendoza, and Miss Yolanda C. Villanueva, the Asst. Principal.

Engr. Santos reiterated that need of pushing through the English speaking campaign with a full force with the officers spearheading the campaign. The good president emphasized the need and benefits of knowing the language by heart.

“Cooperation and Dedication are what we need to initiate the project. Practice to make it effective,” stressed Engr. Santos. Thus declaring Monday as the English Speaking day; if possible, all days of the week.
