Teaching is not just a profession but a vocation. This is a saying that goes true to the SHA teaching staff who rendered their services to the Academy for a number of years because of their love for teaching.

This year’s medal awardees for their ten years of devoted service are Mrs. Janet S. Escobar, Mrs. Cherry Javier, Mr. Crisologo Santos and non-teaching staff, Mrs. Maritess L. Gutierrez.

Plaques of appreciation were awarded to Miss Judella Bonifacio, Mrs. Cynthia Evangelista and Mrs. Melania Mangubat for their fifteen years of fruitful service.

Likewise, Mr. Felipe C. de Leon and Mrs. Consuelo P. Enriquez, the school’s assistant librarian, were also awarded plaques of appreciation for their twenty years of service.

On the other hand, not just a plaque but also a token of appreciation were given to Mrs. Mercedita Z. de Jesus, Mrs.Maria Victoria A. Faigao and Mrs. Elisa D. Geliberte for their twenty five years of dedicated service.

A very unforgettable night was experienced by the head of the English Department, Mrs. Natividad H. San Pedro who has been in the Academy for thirty five years. She received not only the award and recognition from the Board of Directors of the Academy but from her students who fully recognized her effort of imparting her knowledge to them.
Atty. Venustiano S. Roxas, Vice President of the Board of Directors did the honor of award-ing the awards to the recipients.
